LOLOMA Ability Support

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to common questions.

If you cannot find what you need here, call, WhatsApp or email us. We would rather over-explain than leave you guessing.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Not yet. Loloma Ability Support is currently working towards NDIS provider registration and approval has not been confirmed. Participants who self-manage or plan-manage their NDIS funding can engage us now; participants whose funding is NDIA-managed need a registered provider, so we will let you know as soon as our registration is confirmed.

Which areas do you cover?

North Brisbane and Moreton Bay, including Petrie, Lawnton, Strathpine, Kallangur, Brendale, Bray Park, Aspley, Chermside, Morayfield, Caboolture and the Glass House Mountains, subject to availability. If your suburb is nearby but not listed, ask us.

Do you have an office I can visit?

We are a mobile service and come to you, at home or in the community. We do not have a public office at this stage, but we are happy to meet you at your home or a local café for a first conversation.

What hours do you work?

Support hours are flexible and built around each participant's needs and availability, including early mornings, evenings and weekends where arranged. General enquiry hours will be confirmed soon; in the meantime call, WhatsApp or email and we will respond as soon as we can.

Will I have the same support worker each time?

Wherever possible, yes. Consistency builds trust, so we aim to match you with one or two regular workers who know your routines and preferences.

What checks and training do your workers have?

Our founder holds an NDIS Worker Screening Check and has completed disability support and medication-related training. As the team grows, every worker will hold a current Worker Screening Check and the training their role requires.

Can you support people from different cultural backgrounds?

Yes. Cultural inclusion is one of our core values. We take the time to understand your language, faith, food, family and community, and we build support around them.

How do I get started?

Call 0457 062 868, message us on WhatsApp, or send an enquiry through the Contact page. We will arrange a no-obligation conversation to understand what you need, then put a simple plan in writing.

Can I use you if I am not on the NDIS?

Yes. We also work with people who pay privately or through other funding arrangements. Contact us to discuss rates and options.

What if I want to change or stop my support?

You are in control. Tell us what is not working and we will adjust. There are no lock-in contracts; you can change or end support with reasonable notice.
